Therapy begins with feeling heard.
I believe meaningful psychological care begins with creating a space where you can speak openly, without judgement and without having to pretend that everything is fine.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based. Together, we work towards understanding the challenges you are facing, identifying patterns and developing practical ways of moving towards greater emotional wellbeing.
A thoughtful process, not a quick fix.
Understand
We begin by understanding what brings you to therapy, your experiences, current concerns and what you hope to change.
Explore
Together, we explore emotional and behavioural patterns, relationships and experiences affecting your wellbeing.
Grow
Therapy supports greater awareness, healthier coping strategies and practical skills that can support meaningful change.
Therapy from a space where you feel comfortable.
Sessions are available online, allowing you to access psychological support privately and conveniently.
Sessions may take place through video or audio consultation depending on what is appropriate and comfortable.
Before your first session.
How do I know whether I need therapy?
You do not need to wait for a crisis to begin therapy. Therapy may be useful when emotions, relationships, behaviours or life circumstances are causing distress or becoming difficult to navigate alone.
What happens during the first session?
The initial session focuses on understanding your concerns, relevant history, expectations and goals. It also gives you an opportunity to understand the therapeutic process.
Is everything I share confidential?
Therapy is treated as a private and confidential space. The limits of confidentiality, including situations involving significant safety concerns or legal obligations, can be discussed during the initial consultation.
How many therapy sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number that is appropriate for everyone. The duration depends on your concerns, goals, circumstances and progress.
Are online sessions available?
Yes. Online consultations are available through video or audio sessions.
You don’t have to navigate everything alone.
If you are considering therapy, the first conversation can simply be a place to begin understanding what you are experiencing and what kind of support may help.
